Accessibility Statement — PawRiotCo

Our approach

  • Use semantic HTML with programmatic labels for forms, buttons, menus, cart, and checkout.
  • Provide text alternatives for meaningful images, including product photos of pet items (describe the product and use case, not decorative background/pet breed).
  • Ensure color contrast meets AA and that focus indicators are visible across our brand palette.
  • Support keyboard navigation for key paths (product pages, variant/size selectors, quantity steppers, add-to-cart, cart drawer, checkout link).
  • Limit motion/animation and respect “Reduce Motion” settings; avoid flashing content.
  • Provide captions for product videos and keep audio off by default ; transcripts available on request.
  • Present measurements and instructions clearly (eg, cm sizing and fit notes for pet accessories).

Conformity status

We are working toward WCAG 2.1 AA . Certain third-party apps (eg, reviews, tracking, subscriptions) may have limitations we do not control; we monitor these and seek accessible alternatives where possible.

Compatibility and technical requirements

The site is designed for the two most recent versions of Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge, and current iOS/Android browsers. Enable JavaScript and cookies for checkout.

Known limitations and alternatives

  • Third-party widgets (reviews, tracking, payment) may not fully meet AA in all cases.
  • A small number of legacy images may lack alt text; we are updating these.
  • If you encounter a barrier, contact us and we will complete the task for you (for example, sharing product details or placing an order via email).
